What a magnificent hike we had today. The weather, company, bush walks and views of Dunedin were all top notch.
Daphne/Big Stone Roads, Brighton

On a perfect day 22 trampers set off. 2 cars were left at the bottom off Big Stone Rd.
Raceman’s Track

A group of 16 cheerful hikers gathered to walk a circuit around Raceman’s Track, Tunnel Track and back along Whare Flat Road to the starting point at Silverstream car park.

The Government Track was originally built in 1860 to provide horse and dray access to the Waipori Goldfields.
