Wednesday’s tramp was an alphabet.

On – a beautiful calm day everyone(fourteen) great hikers (including Julie Katrina) literally meandered near our pleasant, quiet, rugged, surroundings. Terrain Uphill? Very! Waikouaiti xercising yesterday. Picture1

We parked on Double Hill Road and walked on the Green Ridge track until we met the Eucalypt Spur sign.

We stopped here and assessed times, people’s appointments etc and decided to have lunch here and then head back, although Ross’s original intentions were to carry on to the Sculpture Rocks at the bottom of the climb to the Philip Cox Hut.

We returned the same way until we reached the bottom of the Hunters’ Access track which took us back to the road. The climb was not as bad as many thought.
