The Hike down Kuri Bush was abandoned. We drove down to the starting point and then as the rain had become quite heavy we made a decision to to head to the Brighton Cafe instead!

On a beautiful spring morning 20 keen walkers started out from the lay-bay opposite the entrance to Daphne Road to commence their adventure through, what is known as the Allanton Block of Wenita Forest.

Take Brighton Road from Green Island through Waldronville Township. Parking is available past the township on the left just before crossing the bridge over the Kaikorai Lagoon.
