What to do when you take them home
- Make sure the radios have been turned off!
- When home. Attach the cables to the drop in charging units, plug to the power supply and put radios into charges. The charges will show a red light when the units are charging, the light will change to green when they are fully charged.
- Pack them away in the box when they have been fully charged. We suggest you store the radios with the gear you will be using on the next tramp.
- Ensure both radios are on the same channel 26
- Always store the radios and all associated gear in the case provided.

What to do on the day of tramping
Before you leave home… You can check Radios are fully charged by turning them on and looking at the icon in the top right-hand corner, it should have all the bars showing.
If for some reason it was not fully charged, there is a second chance to get them charged.
Use the car type charging cables, (they are found in the lower section of the box). These have the cigarette lighter attachment for plugging into the car and then to the drop in charging units, this will enable further charging of the radios while travelling.
