First day’s walk to Orrison and it was 33 degrees.  The heat sapped us but was unavoidable.  Then it was the Pyrenees and the border crossing into Spain.

The history and the old buildings are fabulous.   All 8 feet are holding up well and we are very proactive about blister prevention.  We think our trip preparation was pretty good. (Written about Day 5)

We’ve met some real characters and we’ve had lots of laughs along the way. We have a reputation as the “Kiwi Ladies”.  The food has been a bit of a mixed bag, very carb orientated and vegetarian options are few and far between.

After  three consecutive days of 30km and 30 degrees there are some sore feet and a few wee blisters.  Then we had a day that was a  bit cooler and only 22km! (Written about Day 10)
