09/03/2025 to 14/03/2025 . Queenstown Camp. Moonlight Track from Arthurs Point. Combined. Leaders: Anne and Rod Ward.
Was a combined walk with both trampers and walkers up the Moonlight Track starting at the Arthurs point end,
this track is on Moonlight Station private land so the track has little maintenance and at places had washouts and overgrown gorse, the walkers completed 7 kms and the trampers 10 kms, with 500m elevation.
Points of interested included watching the activities at the adventure Shotover Canyon Swing, the Shotover Jet Boats, a falcon that showed interest in our group and of course the spectacular views.
A little bit of rain but otherwise a very good combined walk.
